A stationary front continues sit over the region and will remain through Friday, leading to rounds of showers and thunderstorms. The next round will develop this evening or overnight. Showers and thunderstorms will then move through again tonight, with some severe storms possible and heavy rainfall likely with the bigger storms. Lows will be in the mid 60s.

Thursday's set-up looks very similar again, with showers ending early, and then re-developing late in the day. We should be fairly dry through much of the day, and it will be warm and humid again with highs in the mid 80s. The threat of severe weather will be lower with this round. After those showers and thunderstorms end early on Friday, skies will clear somewhat and temperatures will rise into the mid 80s again.

Over the weekend, it will still be warm and muggy, but the threat of rain will be reduced, with only chances of showers and thunderstorms, mainly in the afternoon of bo! th Saturday and Sunday. Highs will be in the mid 80s with a heat index near 90. Isolated shower and thunderstorm chances will linger into Monday and Tuesday as well, with slightly lower temperatures and humidity. Highs will be near 80. We should finally dry out completely for Wednesday and Thursday, with highs remaining near 80.
