A front that has been nearly stationary to our south with lift north through southern Wisconsin as a warm front tonight. This will allow for showers and thunderstorms. Some storms could produce heavy downpours of rain. Lows tonight will fall into the middle 60s.
Showers and thunderstorms will gradually come to an end on Friday with some partial clearing possible in the afternoon. It will be a warm and humid end to the work week with highs in the lower 80s.
Over the weekend it will remain warm and muggy, but the threat for rain will be reduced. There may be an isolated thunderstorm Saturday with highs reaching the middle 80s. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible Sunday with highs in the middle 80s. Heat index values will be near 90 this weekend. Shower and thunderstorm chances will linger into Monday and Tuesday, with slightly lower temperatures and humidity. Highs will be near 80. We should finally dry out completely on Wedn! esday, with highs in the middle 70s. Dry weather will stick around Thursday and Friday with highs around 80 degrees.
