With high pressure firmly in place, today will be mostly sunny and pleasant with high temperatures near 80 degrees. Clouds will begin to increase tonight ahead of a warm front, and there will be a chance of showers to the west by morning. Lows will be near 60.
Friday will then be mostly cloudy, breezy, warm and more humid as the front comes through. There will be scattered showers and thunderstorms as the front passes, and highs will be held down a bit by the clouds and rain, topping out in the upper 70s.
The weekend will then be warm and humid, with highs in the lower to middle 80s both Saturday and Sunday and heat indices near 90 both afternoons. Chances of showers and thunderstorms will continue with the warm front lingering in the area, but there will be plenty of dry periods as well.
A cold front will move through the area on Sunday night, which will lower both the heat and humidity by Monday. There will still be a chance! of a few isolated showers Monday as the system departs and highs will be in the mid 70s. The rest of the week looks very pleasant with plenty of sunshine, low humidity and highs in the 70s.
