High pressure will remain in control of the region through Thursday night with quiet weather conditions across southern Wisconsin Tonight will be mostly clear and comfortable with overnight low temperatures in the lower 50s.

On Friday, skies will become increasingly cloudy as a storm system approaches. Breezy southerly winds will bring in increasingly humid air with a chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. High temperatures will be around 80 degrees.
Heat and humidity will increase for the weekend. It will be very warm and humid with partly sunny skies, highs in the middle 80s, and heat index values near 90 for both Saturday and Sunday. Showers and thunderstorms are possible both weekend days, mainly early each day and again in the late days an! d nighttime hours. Even with the rain chances, most of the daylight hours should be free from rain.
A cold front will move through the area on Sunday night, which will lower both the heat and humidity for Monday. Highs will be in the upper 70s Monday with skies becoming partly sunny. Tuesday and Wednesday will be cooler than normal with mostly sunny skies and highs in the lower to middle 70s.
