Mostly sunny and cool this morning. Temperatures will start in the upper 40s, close to record lows. Turning partly sunny and a little milder today with highs climbing back into the lower 70s this afternoon. Temperatures will continue to warm through the rest of the week. Highs will be in the middle 70s on Thursday and upper 70s on Friday with plenty of sunshine. Overnight lows will be in the 50s.
Over the weekend into early next week, our temperatures will continue to slowly warm up, and humidity levels will also rise as well. High temperatures will be in the lower 80s on Saturday, climbing into the middle 80s on Sunday and Monday, and into the upper 80s or close to 90 degrees by Tuesday. Heat index values will climb into the lower 90s, especially by Monday and Tuesday. The next chance for showers and thunderstorms probably will hold off until late Tuesday afternoon or Tuesday night.
