Skies will be mostly cloudy with any lingering showers ending early this evening, then skies will become mostly clear and it will become unseasonably chilly with low temperatures in the upper 40s. Madison's record low for Wednesday morning is 48 degrees set in 1973.
Partly sunny skies and a rebound in temperatures begin Wednesday and continue into Friday. Highs will be in the lower to middle 70s on Wednesday, and in the upper 70s on Thursday and Friday.
Over the weekend into early next week, our temperatures will continue to slowly warm up, and humidity levels will also rise as well. High temperatures will be in the lower 80s on Saturday, climbing into the middle 80s on Sunday and Monday, and into the upper 80s or close to 90 degrees by Tuesday. Heat index values will climb into the lower 90s, especially by Monday and Tuesday. The next chance for showers and thunderstorms probably will hold off until late Tuesday afternoon or Tuesday night! .
