Only a slight chance for a light shower or two early this morning as the warm air spreads into the region. Otherwise, skies will be partly sunny for much of the day, with breezy, hot, and humid conditions. Heat index values will approach 100 with actual air temperatures topping out around 90 degrees. More showers and thunderstorms will develop late this afternoon and evening as a cold front sweeps across the region. Some storms could become strong or severe.
Behind the front, it will become mostly sunny on Wednesday. It will also be cooler and less humid with highs in the upper 70s. Pleasant weather will continue for late in the work week. Thursday will be mostly sunny with highs reaching the middle 70s. Friday will be partly sunny with highs in the upper 70s.
Another storm system will approach Wisconsin by next weekend. Shower and thunderstorm chances will develop Friday night and will continue into Saturday morning. Highs will be near 80 on! Saturday and it will be a little more humid. Sunday will be variably cloudy, breezy, and humid with scattered showers and thunderstorms developing later in the day. Highs will be in the upper 70s.
The next work week will start a little cooler than normal for the end of July. Highs will be in the middle 70s with just a slight chance for a shower or thunderstorm.
