Tonight will be partly cloudy with mild and muggy conditions continuing. A cluster of storms may dive southeast from Minnesota late tonight with a chance for showers and thunderstorms in southern Wisconsin, mainly in areas northwest of Madison. Lows will be around 70 degrees. The chance for showers and thunderstorms will continue across southern Wisconsin early on Tuesday before coming to an end. Skies will be partly sunny for much of Tuesday, with breezy, hot, and humid conditions. Heat index values will approach 100 with actual air temperatures topping out around 90 degrees. More showers and thunderstorms will develop late Tuesday afternoon and evening as a cold front sweeps across the region. Some storms could become strong or severe.
Behind the front, it will become mostly sunny on Wednesday. It will also be cooler and less humid with highs in the upper 70s. Pleasant weather will continue for late in the work week. Thursday will be mostly sunny w! ith highs reaching the middle 70s. Friday will be partly sunny with highs in the upper 70s.
Another storm system will approach Wisconsin by next weekend. Shower and thunderstorm chances will develop Friday night and will continue on Saturday and Sunday. The weekend will be a little more humid with highs in the upper 70s and lower 80s. Monday will be cooler and less humid with a spotty shower or thunderstorm. Highs Monday will return to the 70s.
