A powerful area of low pressure will move across Wisconsin tonight through Wednesday, bringing numerous showers and thunderstorms to the area. This will be a strong Fall-like system that will bring heavy rainfall amounts, the possibility for isolated severe storms, and very windy conditions as it passes through the state. Highs on Wednesday will be in the lower 70s, but temperatures will fall quickly Wednesday afternoon into the evening after the passage of a cold front.
After the cold front and low pressure system pass, very cool air will rush into Wisconsin. Skies will be partly sunny on Thursday with highs near 60. A chance for rain showers will develop Friday with very cool temperatures in the middle 50s.
The weekend looks mostly sunny and we will see a slow warming trend. Highs will be near 60 on Saturday and in the middle 60s on Sunday. There is a chance for showers on Monday, with cooler than average highs in the middle 60s. Tempera! tures will rise to near 70 by mid-week.
